Our History
Step by Step Therapy, Inc. was founded in 2009 by Mynda as a Private Practicing Pediatric Physical Therapist. The practice expanded to provide Speech and Occupational Therapy in 2020 in Bartlesville, with a second location opening in Owasso in 2022. It has been founded passionately to meet the therapeutic needs of children 0 – 18 years in each community. The practice has grown to provide developmental screens, family-centered care planning, and excellent clinical and evidence-based practices with a highly experienced and compassionate
team of Administrative Staff and Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists. We are honored to serve the children and families in the Owasso and Bartlesville communities. In the parting words of one of Mynda’s most appreciated mentors, it is all “dedicated to the children.”
Our Owner
Mynda Miser married her Knight in Shining Armor over 20 years ago. She is the proudest mother of two handsome boys and many additional children she claims and calls her own. Mynda finds her “happiest” place when surrounded by her family and friends. She loves gardening, date nights at the movies, and getting absorbed in a good book.
For eight years, Mynda proudly served in the Oklahoma Air National Guard, 138th Fighter Wing. She is a member of Rejoice Church, Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association, American Physical Therapy Association (Pediatric & Private Practice Sections), and Owasso Ambucs. She is the Co-Team Leader of the Northeast Oklahoma Central Drop Off for Operation Christmas Child Samaritan’s Purse.
She graduated from Langston University with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy and Rocky Mountain University with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in Pediatric Science. She is a Clinical Doctoral Candidate in the Pediatric Science Program at Rocky Mountain University. She has additional training and course studies in Traumatic Brain Injuries, Spinal Cord Injuries, Pelvic Floor Dysfunction, and Pediatric Development. Her passion for Pediatric Physical Therapy guided her business development and clinical practice.
